AEMV’s Annual Conference August 9-14 in Savannah, GA.

Registration is now open for AEMV's Annual Conference will be held in conjunction with the 2008 Association of Avian Veterinarian’s Annual Conference & Expo in Savannah, Georgia, USA. The conference is scheduled for August 9th-14th, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Please visit www.conferenceoffice.com/aav to register.

On April 12, 2008, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) granted provisional recognition to the first completely new veterinary specialty since 1993, called Exotic Companion Mammal Practice (ECM). Click here for details.

the specialty of exotic mammal medicine. AEMV was established in 2000 by veterinarians interested in advancing the veterinary care of ferrets, guinea
pigs, rodents and other small exotic mammals.
