Full time experienced exotics veterinarian wanted for an AAHA accredited small animal (dog/cat)/exotics hospital in a university town. We are committed to providing compassionate, high quality and progressive veterinary care to our patients and clients. All DVMs and most of our staff are Fear Free certified. We are seeking an individual who values the human-animal bond, possesses exceptional communication skills, is a self leader and continuous learner, has a high level of emotional intelligence, and would like to grow in their career with our hospital. Must be skilled in surgery and in medicine, as this is a general practice position.
We have digital table and dental radiology, ultrasound (also use a traveling service), laparoscope, flexible endoscope for small mammal intubation, Ligasure, surgical laser, and in-house Idexx hematology and biochemistry. We have access to CT and a sister clinic which is solely dedicated to rehabilitation: laser therapy, acupuncture, underwater treadmill, swimming pool, and more.
Our town (Corvallis, Oregon) is consistently rated amongst the top small university towns in the nation, with access to abundant outdoor recreation.
