Outreach
AEMV is committed to helping exotic mammals across the globe. Through our partnerships, we support veterinarians, vet techs, students and pet owners during natural disasters and times of crisis by providing essential funds and resources.
Our goal is to ensure the well-being of exotic mammals by equipping veterinary professionals and pet owners with the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to respond effectively.
We’ve partnered with the Ukrainian Veterinary Medical Foundation since the start of the war to support animals and veterinarians in Ukraine. Our funding has helped rescue lion cubs, now thriving in the United States, and has provided crucial care, surgeries, and ongoing support for exotic mammals.
AEMV supports the next generation of exotic mammal veterinarians. To date, we have sponsored a variety of student initiatives, including the following:
